CVC mélange yarn stands as a unique category at Salma Group, known for its innovative blend of fibers that offer a distinct set of attributes. This yarn is a product of meticulous engineering, where multiple fibers are combined to enhance the fabric’s overall performance and aesthetic appeal. The most sought-after variant in this category is the cotton polyester blend yarn, which strikes a balance between durability and comfort. This blend leverages the natural breathability and softness of cotton with the resilience and wrinkle resistance of polyester. The silk wool blend yarn is another exemplary product, bringing together the warmth of wool and the luxurious feel of silk.

Color mélange yarn is a type of yarn created by blending fibers of different colors or shades during the spinning process, producing a unique and mixed-tone effect in the final yarn. Fiber Selection for color mélange – Natural fibers (e.g., cotton, wool), Synthetic fibers (e.g., polyester, viscose, acrylic), Blends of natural and synthetic fibers.

100% mélange yarn refers to mélange yarn made entirely from a single type of fiber, such as cotton, wool, or polyester, without blending with other fiber types. The mélange effect in this case is achieved by blending fibers of different colors or shades of the same fiber type during the spinning process. 100% Mélange Yarn produce from one type of fiber (e.g., 100% cotton, 100% polyester, or 100% wool) and maintains the inherent properties of the chosen fiber, such as softness, breathability, or elasticity.

Sustainability: Mélange yarn is a yarn-dyed product, which means that part of the fibers are dyed before mixing into the raw fibers (those fibers that have not been dyed) for spinning. Mélange yarn processing can save around 50% water compared to the conventional processing of spinning before dyeing, and reduces around 50% of wastewater, which all feature mélange yarns with apparent advantages of energy-saving, emission reduction and environmental protection. The fabric that knitted with grey mélange yarn is not needed to dyeing
