Card, Combed, Rotor,
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Combed yarn refers to a type of yarn that has been processed to remove shorter fibers and impurities, leaving only the longer, more uniform fibers. This process results in a smoother, finer, and stronger yarn, making it ideal for high-quality textiles. The removal of short fibers eliminates roughness, giving the yarn a soft and smooth finish. Long fibers ensure evenness in the yarn, enhancing the consistency of the fabric. Longer fibers provide greater tensile strength, making the yarn durable. The evenness and smoothness result in finer, more luxurious fabrics.
Carded blend yarn usually blending different fibers that have undergone carding, a process that aligns fibers and removes some impurities but does not eliminate shorter fibers as thoroughly as combing. This results in a yarn that is less smooth and uniform compared to combed yarn but offers cost-effective and versatile qualities. Carding creates a bulkier, more textured yarn, which can feel soft but less smooth than combed yarn. The blending of fibers (natural, synthetic, or a combination) allows manufacturers to tailor the yarn’s properties for specific applications. Since shorter fibers remain in the mix, carded yarns are more economical to produce.
Rotor blend yarn refers to a type of yarn produced using rotor spinning (also known as open-end spinning), where fibers are blended and spun together in a rotor. This spinning method creates a durable and economical yarn with unique structural properties, making it suitable for various applications.
